Why this lab

An Industrial IoT & Smart Systems Lab helps ITI and Polytechnic students build practical skills in electronics, sensors, microcontrollers, networking and automation. The lab is designed around real industry use cases such as machine monitoring, energy tracking, environmental sensing, predictive alerts, smart agriculture and basic industrial automation. I design the setup around the trade, course level, available infrastructure and budget. The focus is on practical employability skills using commonly available platforms such as ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and industry-relevant communication protocols. The objective is to help students understand the complete IoT flow: sensing, data acquisition, connectivity, cloud or local dashboards, automation and troubleshooting.
