CBSE Composite Skill Lab
One multi-skill workshop combining electronics, fabrication, design and making - for schools that want one lab to do it all.
Illustrative imageWhy this lab
A Composite Skill Lab brings several hands-on disciplines under one roof: electronics, digital fabrication, woodwork, design and coding. It suits schools with limited space that still want broad, skill-based learning and NEP 2020 vocational exposure.
The key is zoning: I plan the layout so different activities can run side by side safely, with shared storage, clear supervision lines and a timetable that keeps every zone in use.
What's inside
- Electronics and circuits bench
- Digital fabrication zone (3D printing, laser cutting)
- Woodwork and hand-tool area
- Design and coding workstations
- Model-making, art and craft station
- Zoned layout with safety and storage plan
What students learn
- Work across disciplines on real-world projects
- Build vocational and pre-engineering skills
- Use a wide range of tools safely
- Plan and manage multi-step projects
- Discover interests early for future study paths
How we'll set it up
- 1Needs & Space Assessment
- 2Lab Layout & Technology Planning
- 3Equipment, Vendor & Budget Planning
- 4Curriculum & Timetable Mapping
